For the first time, two infants joined our retreat. It was awesome to have them with us.

“I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death,”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭

During the retreat, we had two infants with us. One from Thami and the other from Nolitha.

As they were busy, many people took turns to care for the baby. Since Helen was free from lectures, she did spend the most time caring for the babies.

Holding the baby for an extended time is not easy. Especially, if you have hold them in your arms.

On the last night, Helen was lying down in her room. I could see her exhaustion. I asked her if she was okay.

Her answer surprised me, “I’m so happy. The babies are so cute.”

Christ’s suffering is like that. It seems unbearable and tiresome, but it comes with amazing rewards of joy that compares to nothing.
