Another shot of our year end function. We finished an entire lamb.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Psalms 30:5

How are we so sure that God’s anger lasts only a moment?

What if I kill or rape someone, would his favor still lasts a lifetime?

What if I kill someone every night?

His anger doesn’t last, because of our true repentance. Not mere confrssion of our sins, but true remorse without being forced.

It is easy to apologize to someone pointing a knife at us. We often repent because of the fear we have for God.

It is difficult to truly humble yourself and apologize to a helpless child, who is negligible in your life.

God waits for us to come to him in humility, not in fear. Then, his anger doesn’t exist.
