Jesus: The Only Hope

Are Christians fools for believing in Jesus? Are we mere sentimentalists, or do we have reasonable reasons for believing in the Lord Jesus Christ? My dear friend, false religion will never satisfy the hungry heart.

If you go to the tomb of Confucius, you’ll find it is occupied. If you go to the tomb of Buddha, you’ll find it is occupied. If you go to the tomb of Jesus, you’ll find it empty. He is a risen Savior. Hallelujah!

Now that’s very important because, you see, you can take Confucius out of Confucianism and still have Confucianism. And you can take Buddha out of Buddhism and still have Buddhism. But you cannot take Jesus Christ out of Christianity and still have Christianity, because Christianity is not a code, it’s not a creed, it’s not a cause. It is Christ Himself in you.

Jesus alone takes the sting out of sin, the pain out of parting, the gloom out of the grave, the dread out of dying. And Jesus alone gives a hope that is steadfast and sure.

Jesus lived a man’s life knowing the experiences of human kind. Yes he was always patient and kind, sometimes even when people were so horrible to him.

Seeing through Jesus eyes allowed him to see the brokenness in people.

Pray to Him…to allow us to have such empathy. Choose the path of love and see how it can change people. This is Christ’s love, not our love…it’s beyond our capabilities…ask Him today and always.❤️

Life is filled with endless questions and uncertainty. Where is my solid ground in this shaky world? Who can I count on that does NOT disappoint, fail, or forsake me? What about these feelings that I struggle with on a daily basis? Who is always with me and for me? Who can redeem and restore my messes? Where is my hope for the future? Who will love me unconditionally,no matter what? The answer is Jesus. My peace lies in Him and not in things of this world.

When we are rooted and grounded in Love, we are rooted and grounded in the author and perfecter of our faith, God Himself. When we are not intentionally IN Christ, fear can come and contaminate that faith. Be intentional today about being entwined as one with God. Set your mind on things above and set your heart on His Word. You will be firmly established, you will not be shaken or moved by circumstances, faith will trump fear, and you will look at your future with hope, expectation, joy and peace🙏

Ever lasting, ever constant, ever powerful, ever knowing, ever good.

That is our Father.

When we are lost and we are seeking something, someone…it always leads us to Him. It doesn’t matter how or what or why or when we find our way, but it is important that we just do.

Our Father had the Bible created in order to share His wisdom with us. The Words are alive! Did you know in every season of your life, even from one day to the next, the same Word can have new meaning? A new meaning, a different or deeper understanding…it never ends!

Somehow God knows what we need when we need it…it’s all there. We just have to take the time to want ro know, to learn and to be open to His teachings.

It makes sense, it just happens says my son Jayden. He is 12. He has many more years to build his relationship with God..but he sees the truth in the Word already. Absolutely amazing!

When do you want to start? If you don’t know how…ask God to help you. Pray and you will receive…anything to bring you closer to Him…❤️

Often our hearts and our minds are harassed by the worries of life.
Even in the face of trouble, our confidence and trust can be in God.
God does not want us to be troubled or overcome with fear or sadness. It is  only in Him can our weary souls find rest and no other comforter knows exactly what we need except Jesus christ who gives hope beyond the present situation.

In worship, a lens shift happens. A beautiful shift, where the focus moves from our problems in the moment to His presence. You could be having a terrible day. You could be focusing too hard on the past. But the moment you enter worship, you start to see things more clearly through the highs and lows of life.

When I think about all that God has done for me and how He’s been there for me in every season of life, I can’t help but feel joy and freedom.

Joy is a daily choice that we get to make. In my life I’ve found that I experience true joy through worship and Thanksgiving.
