In Mbekweni, the braai stand was owned by a Street Committee member. We shared a good chat and laughter while eating big fat juicy Russian sausages. It only cost R3 ($.25) each.

Deone is an assistant teacher for Sheren’s Sunday school. She is only 16, but has lots of love in her.

Just wanted to share a common scene at Nomawethu’s house on Sundays.
Nomawethu lives with her two daughters and a niece. During a family session, she thanks them. “It is hard to be a mother and also a father in the house. I thank you for helping me by understanding and listening to my instructions.”
We had a small birthday celebration for Yondela’s birthday. Helen prayed for her and Yondela quickly teared up.
Saniliwe is Thando’s daughter. She wants to be a pilot, but we don’t know how to go by assisting her to achieve that dream.
