Helen and Sheren doing a midnight run. There is no time curfew in God’s love.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

I was fixated on the idea of being ‘more than conquerors.’

Paul was talking about no hardship, persecution or sword shall separate us from the Love of Christ.

He is saying we are meant to do more than just overcoming those challenges.

Then, what is more?

It is building God’s Kingdom in us and around us.

We will surely overcome the challenges, then we are call to spread his grace and compassion to the world around us.

The hardships we face are an appetizer to the main dish, a warm up to the main event, and a hand sanitizer at the entrance to your favoriate store.

Let’s face and conquer our hardships. We have God’s Kingdom to build that is based on the love we have received… from Jesus.

It has been 10 years that we have known Lolo. He went through quite a bit yet he is a college student now. I gave him some groceries to help his dorm room life. He kept on saying, “Mr. Jung. I don’t smile.”

Zukisani and Papama met with Ubenathi to prepare him for university. He is going into grade 12 next year.

A conversation between Margaret and Helen.

Margaret: “You don’t know how much I appreciate what you have done for me.”

Helen: “You don’t know how much I love you.”

Their leader, Thembeka, was too busy to meet, but it didn’t deter Bolweka, Julia, and Miyolo from meeting and sharing the love.

Zukisani shared a devotion today. I took this picture when we went to our first Vuku Retreat.

Siphelele came to me and asked for a $5 ball. I said, “what are you going to do for me in return.” This is what I got.

We were visiting Sheren’s house and saw her grandchildren. Sometimes I don’t realize the enormous impact of one person turning to Jesus.

We got the biggest teddy bear we could find for Zukisani’s daughter. Happy birthday!

We went to visit Victoria before she left for Eastern Cape due to a family issue.
