When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
John 5:6
“Do you want to get well?” Is a symbolic question. It will be different to each of us.
It could be, “Do you want to be free?” Or “want to have peace?”
Whatever He asks you, it is an invitation to put your trust on Him.
So when Jesus asks you a question, you don’t need to bargain.
Just say, “Yes Lord, I trust you. Be with me.”
