Joseph and his crew are in Northern provinces to install 28 solar panels in churches in various areas. Please pray for their safe return.
Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
Luke 14:12-14

In meeting 17 of the Vuku book we talk about having compassion. Jesus reminds us that he has called us to reconcile all those who are lost and are in need of His grace with Him.
We might be tempted to share our love with, and show compassionate to people that we like who will love us back, but if we want to manifest the true love and compassion of God we need to show kindness that can never be repaid.
Because compassion without Christ is like pouring into a hollow cup. It will never be filled, no matter how much you pour into it. Jesus is the only one that can fill that cup.
So let us be compassionate for the purpose of telling people the truth about Christ, that is the best way that we can love them.
