The passion week starts off with Palm Sunday, which was yesterday.
Jesus rode a donkey to enter Jerusalem and people waved Palm branches.
Riding a donkey means peace after Triumph. It shows a need to slowdown and enjoy the people’s welcome. The palm branches also mean well-being and victory.
On the second day, Jesus starts to clear the temple as you read in the passage.
Jesus is calling us to re-examine our lives and hearts, and to get ready for him.
For us to be ready to see as who Jesus truly is and praise him for the victory. “Hosanna!”
