As we go through a lockdown during the passion week, we thank the lord for wonderful relationships that we have been building in him.
“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”
Luke 22:19-20
Day 5 of the Passion Week
Yesterday, it was time for us to grow. Those who didn’t belong to Christ grew further away. Those who belonged to Christ found peace and rest in Him.
On the 5th day, Jesus makes the new covenant through his blood with those who belongs to Him.
We talked about the New Covenant this past Sunday. He will be our God and we will be his people, we will know him, and he will not count our sins against us. (Hebrews 8:10-13)
Jesus asked us to have communion in rememberance of him.
Today, let’s remember our lord Jesus and the new covenant that was made in his blood.
