“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”
Proverbs 3:9-10
What does it mean to homer the Lord with your wealth?
We are stewards of God’s grace in various forms (1 Peter 4:10).
If God has blessed you with an ability to give deep comfort, you wouldn’t use your gift to convince a boy/girl to marry you, right?
If God has blessed you with gift of healing, you wouldn’t go around and take money from people to heal them, right?
You will use the gifts from God carefully and faithfully for his glory.
Our wealth is no different for we live under God’s grace.
We care for it as God’s gift and use it carefully and faithfully for his glory.
It is how we honor the lord with our wealth.
