Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

There is an old saying, “No plan survives first contact with the enemy.” Similarly, the famous boxer Mike Tyson said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
It is a raw and unpleasant comment, but it holds some wisdom. We all believe that we can face trials and remain strong when they come, but in reality, we often find ourselves failing when confronted with them.
So, one way or another, we are likely to fail. Then, how do we prepare for trials and create plans that prevail? Simply put, we don’t. At least, we don’t plan for the trials specifically.
Instead, our focus should be on keeping Jesus’ presence within us at all times. That is our true work. Despite the circumstances or challenges we face, we must maintain His love in our hearts and actions, even when we are failing.
Remember, my family, you are strong because Jesus in you is strong.
