Pic: Roden and I had a deep conversation about family and Jesus presence. We kinda left it unresolved. A couple of days later he sent me this pic as an answer. Doing a Vuku meeting with his family. Great answer my friend. *
But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
Luke 10:40-42

We may laugh at Martha, but often we find ourselves doing the same thing.
Before we seek Jesus, we long to fulfill our roles as wives, fathers, or breadwinners.
“But if we abandon everything for Christ, what will we eat?”
We eat what Jesus provides and witness how He takes care of us, especially how He provides for my loved ones through me. He guides me through my life and my days, leading me to bring to the table what He has prepared for me.
Only then can we truly praise the Lord for His provision.
Do you notice the difference between this and waiting for something to happen?
