Visited Neliswa and there were children!
So, as God’s own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved [by God Himself], put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper]; bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive.
Colossians 3:12-13
Written by Papama
Everyone needs and desires healthy loving relationships. But sometimes things get in the way and people end up hurting each other leaving grudges and bitterness.
I’m this verse Paul prescribes what it is like having a healthy relationship. In the text he tells us what we have to do to maintain healthy relationships.
Sometimes, no matter what you do, some people are hard to get along with. But often if you treat a difficult person with the qualities that Paul describes in the above text, their heart will begin to change.
The reason you should do this is because God has graciously chosen and loved you. So God’s gracious loving treatment for us should be the basis for our loving and kind treatment of others.
I pray that we may all practice the compassion and love that Jesus has shown us with the people around us.
Have a Blessed week ahead my Vuku Family
