“Son, your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus didn’t heal him right away, but he forgave his sins first.

It means that this crippled man (blemished in God’s sight) was allowed to come to God through Jesus Christ without being healed.

What erased his shortcomings was his faith in Jesus.

We are all blemished one way or another. What erases them is our faith in Jesus.

Our faith in Jesus makes us perfect and precious.

You are perfect and precious to Jesus.
