Let me introduce our newest addition to the love filled Vuku Family. Her name is Imboyothando and it means ‘the origin of love.’

The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”  “Pardon me, my Lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”

When Gideon questioned God, he was not questioning God. He was questioning himself.

When Jesus was sent to save us all, we believe.

When Paul was used to spread the Gospel around the world, we believe.

However, when we are called to changed the world, no no no, our community, no no no, our own family, we question.

Not because we question God, but ourselves.

The Lord says to Gideon, “Am I not sending you?”

Jesus is sending you. Don’t believe in yourself, but believe in Jesus, our Lord.
