John is inviting the readers to join him in fellowship.

And he says his fellowship is with the Father and with his son, Jesus Christ.

In the same way, when you invite anyone to fellowship with you, it is an invitation to fellowship with Jesus in you.

And if they accept, they can experience the complete joy.

That is what you have in you, my family. You are precious and important to those around you.

You are a precious delegate of Jesus Christ.
