After a short Bible study with translation, Nyami got amazed and said, “I wish I can learn English, so I can learn more about the Bible.”
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8
We often think being a witness to Jesus is our duty as Christians.
However, the Holy Spirit doesn’t make us a soldier with a purpose.
What the Holy Spirit does is transform and equip us.
Then, why would we be a witness?
Because it is such a joyful experience being with Jesus Christ and seeing myself transform into someone I can cherish.
We want to share that with our loved ones, because we want them to experience the same thing in Christ.
That is why we become a witness.
Because of our joy and not of a duty.
