Empathy vs. Sympathy.

Sympathy is acknowledging another person’s emotions such as, “Oh poor thing, you must be sad.”

Empathy is putting yourself in their shoes in order to feel the pain together.

Empathy doesn’t come from cultural duties or moral code. It comes from love for that person.

Jesus wouldn’t have died for us unless he felt the pain of us being perished.

God doesn’t hear your request to help others but your broken heart for them.

That is why Jesus cried for us. So shall we.
