Not a presentable day for Yiva.

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

It is in our nature to test other people, because of our insecurity.

To be sure, if they would be there for me.

So, we will be tested as well.

They will ask for our time, emotion, and even money from you.

Not pleasing them is not ignoring them.

But it is giving them God’s instead of what they are asking for.

Not my love, but God’s.
