At Abohna’s school, there was a prayer room for students and a prayer tree.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I was feeding my dogs and realized the dogs might have it clear than I do.

When I was holding a plate of dog food in my hand, they first looked at the food and got excited. The tails were wiggling.

But soon they took their eyes off of the food and paid attention to me.

They clearly knew I’m the giver and I alone decide whether they eat or not. They don’t deserve it. It is my mercy.

It goes same to us. No one, not even myself, get to decide whether I will receive God’s love.

Only Jesus Christ.

Then, we need to focus on the giver. What is Jesus doing or thinking before we expect his love.

Obviously, my love for the dogs isn’t any comparison to God’s love for us.

But let’s focus on the Lord today. Pay the respect that He deserves as a giver of life.
