When I first joined Vuku, it wasn’t because I was looking for a place of support. I joined simply out of curiosity. But through this group, I began to truly know God, to feel His presence, and to draw closer to Him. Vuku helped me understand who God is not only in prayers or Sunday worship, but in my day to day life , in the small moments, in the quiet times, and in the people He placed around me. Week by week, as we shared our stories, prayed together, and encouraged one another, I felt His love surrounding us. Vuku became a place where I could see God’s presence in real life, where faith became something I could feel and live out each day.

When I began leading the group, God opened my heart even more. Through the members’ stories, I witnessed His presence in such gentle and beautiful ways. I still remember one sister sharing how she felt God with her during a quiet moment, when the wind softly touched her face, the leaves danced lightly before her eyes, and a deep peace filled her heart. That story touched me deeply. It reminded me that God doesn’t always speak through grand miracles or loud voices. Sometimes, He comes quietly, through a soft breeze or a calm heart that knows He is here.
As a leader, I often felt I wasn’t doing enough. But through every moment of uncertainty, God showed me His faithfulness. I saw people slowly grow from confusion to trust, from weariness to peace, from fear to faith. Watching them rely on God more deeply filled my heart with joy. Their growth reminded me that it’s not about how perfect we are, but how willing we are to let God work through us.
One sister especially touched my heart. In the beginning, she was unsure and struggled with fear about the future. But after a while, she said to me, “God arranged everything for you.” I saw her growing little by little, becoming more faithful and peaceful. Later on, she shared with me how thankful she was to God for her good health, for her child’s safety, and for the protection of her parents. She began to talk more about caring for and loving others. I could see how God’s love was growing inside her heart, and how that love began to spread outward to those around her. Witnessing that transformation reminded me once again how powerful God’s love is, and how He works quietly, deeply, in each of us.
Through this journey, I’ve come to feel that God’s love and the love of all the people He placed around me , has lit up my heart. And when my heart is full of His light, I can also become a light for others, to bring warmth, encouragement, and hope to the people around me.

I’ve learned that being thankful and grateful is not just about saying the words or feeling it for a moment. It’s a journey, step by step, reflection, and faith. This journey is a precious gift God has given me, and I treasure it deeply. I treasure every person He has placed in my life, because through them, I have learned to see Him in the laughter, the tears, the prayers, and the stillness.
Each of us grows spiritually in our own way, and that is the beauty of God’s creation. Just as He made each of us unique, He also leads each of us along a unique path that always leads back to His love. Together, we are part of His beautiful masterpiece, a reflection of His grace, His patience, and His unconditional endless love.
